Timeline
I am 24 years old and come from Melhus. Before diving into the world of technology, I practiced boxing for 11 years with the goal of becoming a professional boxer. It’s a huge contrast to where I am now, but boxing taught me important values such as discipline and focus - qualities I now apply in my work as a developer.
In 2019, I was introduced to dropshipping, where I create and manage my own online store. I handled things like customer service and marketing, while the suppliers took care of storing and shipping the products. As I worked on my dropshipping sites, I became more interested in how websites are built and designed, which eventually led me to do research about web development.
In 2020, I applied for web development directly after high school. At the time, I was young and inexperienced, still figuring out what direction I wanted to take in life. Even though I was eager and passionate to learn, I lacked both knowledge and confidence that would have made me fully prepared for the challenges of a university program.
In 2022, I reapplied for the web development program, now with a stronger foundation and greater confidence. Over the past few years, I had invested in self-learning by taking online courses. This time, I was fully committed, and my efforts paid off, leading to my graduation in 2025.
